Thankfully, I was able to make it to class this morning. For today’s agenda, we are supposed to draw out our storyboard on mahjong paper and do a short presentation on our idea to get the approval from the lecturers. Dr. Rosseni prepared mahjong paper, markers and crayons for us to get creative in making our storyboard come to life.
So for our storyboard, we decided to proceed with our Penang trip as everyone got their approval from their parents. Can we have a round of applause for our amazing and supportive parents? Anyway, moving forward. In preparation for this Penang trip, we googled some of the local cuisines that we-must-try when we touch down in Penang. Meals such as char kueh tiaw, laksa, nasi kandar and cendol was one of the few main ones that appear top in the search page. We even ask a few of our classmates that stayed in Penang throughout their life; Dalveender and Fatin Kamilia. Both of them have help us to come up with a list of must-eat-food in Penang during our trip. We decided to try approximately 10 meals; shared among us to save budget. Apart from that, another part of the video is discussed as well. Our highlight of this video not only was it to showcase the many varieties of delicious food there is in Penang but also on how to be healthy.
We came with a solution in trying to help society to keep their figure in shape and stay healthy even though one may eat a little bit too much at one point, but with the right amount of exercise and calories intake, one still can be healthy. Hence we came up with a conclusion where exercises such as running or jogging, swimming and cycling can help maintain one figure after devouring a whole-full-of-calorie meal the day before. By watching and knowing the calories of the meal you take from time to time could also help one in keeping their figure in shape.
Basically, I learnt that compromising and having an aim is the way to get things run smoothly especially when working in a group. Being in a group of six; with only one main gender can be quite challenging as everyone has something to say in their part about everything. However with the power of compromising with each another, I believe that we could work this out together! :) Apart from that, having a storyboard is a crucial element in making a video as it gives you a glimpse of what to look forward later once the video is recorded, edited and published. Having a storyboard as a plot keeps everything in order; this will help us to keep us at track without forgetting any important parts of scene that need to be recorded.
With that, I end this post with a video of our presentation in class earlier on, on our storyboard :)
